Our experiences

Who are we?

We are a group of parents and carers from all over the country.  We have been brought together by our shared concern that our parental involvement in the schooling of our children is being eroded.

Our experiences

"Any parent looking for secondary schools for their child knows that the education system in this country is a confusing, incoherent shambles. It's time that politics was taken out of the equation and replaced by an honest focus on the needs of the next generation."

Mum, North West London

"Education should be free from excessive government bureaucracy. It should be child centred, with parents having a greater role in decisions."

Mum, Staffordshire

"There's a free school opening up near my daughter's school.  There's no shortage of places so it will just take resources away from the other local schools. It seems like there's no planning system anymore!" Dad, Kent

"My year 6 child is bored in school because, in preparation for sats he spends a large amount of his school day completing revision and old test papers. I'm worried this is going to put him off school for ever." Mum, Liverpool
